Today at 13:00, the contract on joining this municipality to the Green Dot System was signed. The signing of the contract was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Foča in FBiH – Ustikolina Zijad Kunovac and the Acting Director of the Public Utility Company “Ušće” Ustikolina Admir Borović, and the Assistant Director for Cooperation with the Local Community of Ekopak Hasan Ahmetspahić.

The contract committed the partners to purchase 12 containers for the establishment of 4 eco-islands, and to develop the areas at the locations where the eco-islands will be set up. The Municipality of Foča – Ustikolina in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the 16th municipality in which Ekopak is building an efficient, long-term, sustainable and transparent Green Dot System based on leading experiences and practices in other European member countries of PRO EUROPE.
