On December 19, 2014, an educational play for children “Recycling is not a hassle” was held in the Mepas shopping center, which is realized in cooperation with BNP Zenica. The main character in the play is the children’s mascot “Tvrle the ecologist” who explains to children how to properly handle packaging waste.

After the performance, a party and workshop for children were organized with the aim of encouraging creative ideas about the use of packaging waste. Children made creations from packaging materials, and the most creative works were symbolically awarded. The great response, interest and interaction of children at the performance and workshop greatly contributed to creating a positive atmosphere about the selective separation of packaging waste.

Ekopak successfully implements educational and promotional activities aimed at increasing awareness of the proper disposal and recycling of packaging waste, primarily among the youngest generations, modeled after positive experiences and practices that have proven effective in establishing systems in other PRO EUROPE member countries.
