The lucky winners’ drawings, held on February 5 in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, concluded the prize game “Green Dot Takes You to Europe”. The winners of the main prizes, trips for two people to a European country that is part of the Green Dot system, are Leila Nedžibović from Tuzla and Jelena Nikić from Doboj.

To participate in the prize draw, it was necessary to circle and send the Green Dot symbol from the product packaging along with a declaration showing which company is marketing the product. Our lucky winners sent the Green Dot from the packaging of Henkel and Nestle Adriatic BH.

These companies have recognized the importance of the internationally protected Green Dot symbol placed on product packaging and through Ekopak they fulfill their legal obligations related to the recovery and recycling of packaging waste. In this way, they send a message of their social responsibility, concern for the packaging waste that is generated after their product is consumed, and their contribution to environmental protection. 

Consumers in our country are increasingly accepting the Green Dot symbol and are looking for products that have it on store shelves, because in this way they directly participate in the recycling of packaging waste.

Ekopak once again invites all manufacturers, importers and end suppliers to join the system that is successfully being established in our country by the Bosnian and Herzegovinian economy gathered around Ekopak, modeled after the most efficient systems in European countries, and to mark the packaging of their products with the Green Dot symbol.
