Posusje in the Green Dot System – 6 eco islands and bucket sets for all kindergartens and schools.

On Earth Day, April 22, 2015, a ceremonial handover of the infrastructure for the establishment of 6 eco-islands was held in the Municipality of Posušje, and 12 sets of bins were also distributed to kindergartens and schools so that students could selectively dispose of packaging waste.  

Locations approved by the Municipality of Posušje are planned for the installation of the eco-island. Representatives of the Municipality of Posušje and representatives of the companies Ladanušić Čistoća and Ekopak attended the handover. 

This is also the first phase of introducing the Municipality of Posušje into Ekopak’s Green Dot System. Ekopak – a non-profit company, the first authorized system operator in BiH, has so far established cooperation with the municipalities of: Bihać, Gračanica, Orašje, Donji Vakuf, Kladanj, Ključ, Olovo, Breza, Vitez, Novi Travnik, Vogošća and Posušje, and the number of municipalities wishing to join the Green Dot System is increasing daily.
