
For Earth Day, Ekopak and the Bosnian National Theater Zenica are organizing an educational and entertainment program for children
April 22, International Earth Day, has been celebrated since 1970 all over the world and aims to expand the environmental movement in the world, which will lead to the construction of a healthy sustainable environment, protect the environment from negative phenomena and preserve the planet Earth for future generations.
Ekopak, since its foundation, has been marking this significant date for the fourth year in a row by organizing various educational, entertainment and cultural events.
On the occasion of April 22, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., an educational and entertainment program for primary school children will be held in the large hall of the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica. The program includes an eco-quiz with prize games, a dance with balloons, a game of properly sorting waste into bins, an educational play “Recycling is not a hassle”, photography, creative workshops and a whole range of rich content aimed at raising awareness among the youngest about the meaning and importance of recycling packaging waste and environmental protection.
